With the passing years Amrit's work has gained a certain level of maturity. She now observes human behavior not just

in it's entirety but catches it in some unguarded moments which translates into her paintings.

Mahakumbh 2

Size: 5ftx3ft Year: 2017 Medium: Acrylic on canvas Inspired by the Mahakumbh at Haridwar, this painting reflects the artists observation of the same. The different people, be it the holy men or the common people or the foreign tourists, all come together in search of Moksha or freedom from sins by taking a dip in the holy Ganges. The congregation of the sadhus- Naga sadhus, the Niranjani sadhus or the Moni sadhus, the artist has aptly captured and painted this mass Hindu pilgrimage.
